Art activity

PurpleMash 2Do- using 2Paint, can you make a space scape using a range of tools ( brushes, pens, paint bucket etc)? See if you can use tone and shading to make your work look 3D ( this is much harder on a computer programme) Don’t forget to save your work so we can share it together.

Think back to the work we did on Superheroes. Take a look at Jon Burgerman’s website

https://www.jonburgerman.com. Taking a line for a walk or using doodles, can you create some characters - Could they be aliens or superheroes or space cadets?

You could try the drawing challenge (opens as PDF)

 Computing activity

Use this opportunity to improve your coding skills. In Purple Mash select the Computing tile and then 2Code

Choose some of the challenges to work through.

Remember: Chimp level is a good place to start, Gibbon level gets more challenging!

Drag and drop sounds into the grid. Explore. Can you change the speed of the music? Can you add drums? How many SFX sounds can you use? Click here to access Purple Mash. I can't wait to hear your completed piece!

Monday 30th March
English activity - Expanded noun phrases

What are expanded noun phrases? Follow this link and join in with The Rapping Unicorn to find out.

Write down five different nouns from around your home or your imagination. Now write them again with adjectives before the noun. Finally write the adjectives and nouns again but this time with a prepositional phrase after the noun that tells you where the noun is. Remember a phrase does not have a verb! E.g. Thirty slippery newts in the glistening pond.
